MEETING AT PANNEYIRKK

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) DA.NNEVIR.KE, Last Night. At th,> Svnod of the Methodist Church,. Wellington district, the Re* Mr Serpell, the chairman, in his address, referred to the mission of inspiration and appeal which, the church was organising for 1913 throughout the Dominion. "A revival of undefiled religion, a revival of faith and righteousness," said Mr Serpell, "was what the church needed above everything else. A long discussion ensued on tha report which recommended the formation of a Manawatu and Hawke's Bay district. Ultimately an amendmentwas carried that the Wairarapa and Hawke's Bay form a new district, "Poverty Bay to be included in the Manawatu district. The whole matter will be re-discus-sed at a conference, and it was decided that the Synod would not deal with proposals affecting other districts in the Dominion.

A request for the division of the Lovin-Ota'ki circuit was defeated/it being. considered that the (time isf •not ripe, there being a lack of social unanimity. A motion for the transfer of certain Wellington property to the Wellington .Central Mission was thrown., out./ l The ] LevifalOtdki " to take, a 'rnarried minister at the next ' conference. Wairarapa South/will be relieved from its obligation to take a married'minister for another year.
