ARRIVAL IN WELLINGTON

The Senior Cadets who- resented Ns\y .Zealand at-the .Toronto Exhibition arrived in Wellington ta.'s afternoon by the Auckland express. : They •' were met by the Mayor and a .large number;of repre»iantativ:6 citizens and welcomed. •Headed by the sth Regimental Band they-marched to Parliament Buildings where they were! entertained by the Hon J. Allen at afternoon tea. After being put through s m.e drill they were addressed by the Prime Minister, who stated that they had bpen a credit to themselves and their country, and the officer who had trained them. Cheers were then given for the boys. In conversation with a reporter Captain. Fullerton said the trip had been capital, both from an educational and pleasure point of view. Two weeks were spent at the Toronto, Exh'bition. They won every competition except shooting, and the place they secured in this was equal to a first in other,-? as the conditions were against them. They visited Niagara Falls. The Duke <jf Cohnaught (Governor of Canada) inspected them at Vancouver where they spent two days. Mr Gow, New Zealand's trai3e representative, went to a lot of trouble [to entertain them, and they bad splendid receptions every wliore. To-morrow the Canadian Cadets will arrive from Lyttqlton, and will be tendered a civic and military reception. 1 The New Zealand Cadets if ill bo present in the .afternoon, ar,.l the two contingents will give an exhibition of drill at Newtown Park.
