A resolution of sympathy was passed with tho chairman (Ilov S. J. Serpell, Mastorton) in the death of his wife. The Revs A. Hopper, C. D. Carr r and W. talker wore recommended to pass :in their year, their subject in written examinations being satisfactory. Tho delegates to the Synod wore welcomed this evening at a conversazione by th 9 Mayor.
