HEAVY LOSS

(Received November 5, 9.20 a.m.) LONDON, November 4. One girl was incinerated at the fire at Barker's stores in South Kensington. Three others were killed through jumping from a parapet 70 feet high, where seventeen girls and two men were trapped. Those remaining wero rescued by means of the fire escapes. The others might have been saved but for the crowd inciting them to jump. Several firemen showed great hero-
