F. , Pearre, Federal Minister for Defence', might visit England at tho same time, or that the members of tho British Cabinet concerned might find it possible to aitond .a subsidiary Defence . Conference in Australia. Failing this, Vancouver might prove convenient half-way meeting place. SYDNEY HERALDS OPINION. (Received November 10 . m.) SYDNEY, November 5. Tho Sydney Morning Herald declares that if an Imperial Omferonoc at Vancouver is held it vroukl.be one of the I 'most important mox-tings since tho Dominions wore called into council with the Imperial Government with regard to the-doi'enee of the Empire.
