Mr J. C. Boddington reports as follows for the month of October : — : Rain fellon 12 days, maximum fall chiring 24 Jiours 1.07, inches registered on 23rd minimum 2 points on 21st. total for the month 4.53 inches, as compared with 9.3,4 7.22, 1.11, 3.9;) ; 3.63, 3.54, 2.08, and 2.64 inches for 1904, 1905, 1906, 1907,' 1908,- 1909. 1910, and 1911 respectively. . During the month' (i frosts were registered a s follows: 1. 4-1, 5, 4, 4-1-.. and 4 degrees aggregating 23 degrees, .as compared ,<vith 13 frosts in October, 1911, as follows; 9. 6, 4, 5. 6. 2.2 4, 3 ; 1, 5, 4, 3 degrees aggregating 5-1 degrees.
