FRENDSHIP CONFERENCE. j (Received November 2, 10 a.m ) J LONDON, November L (The Anglo-German Friendship Conference has concluded its sittings. Lord Courtney, who presided., said the English had learned to approbate Germany's greatness, while Germany was beginning to understand England better. Sir Oliver Lodge said it was mischievous and erroneous to- suppose > that Germany's naval expansion Mas directed against England.
