PICKPOCKET GANG.
ARRESTED AT RICCARTON. (By Telegraph — Preu Aunnation.) CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. Warnings have been given i-n local newspapers to visitors to Christchir.-.-h during the Carnival week, to be on their guard against a gang of Australian pickpockets. The warning «\ppears to have been well founded, ior on the course at Ricearton on Saturday, four men, alleged to belong to the light-lingered gentry, and to he well known criminals, were arrested by the detectives on a charge of having relieved a man of £7.0 in money.
