FURTHER EXTENSION WANTED

NELSON, Last 'Night,
A public meeting to-night unanimously resolved to urge the Government to place an additional sum on the Supplementary Estimates for the purpose of pushing on the construction of the Nelson-Murc'hison section of the midland railway, and also to authorise the extension,from the end of the present authorisation to Murchison.
