THE COMMITTEE'S REPORT. (2,;/ Telearam —Jt-resj Association-) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The report of the. Committee set up to consider and report upon the Taupo Timber Company's petition was discussed in the House of Representatives to-night. Tho Hon W. F. Massey said the matter had been fully considered by Committee. He proposed to visit, tho locality during the recess, and with that end in view, he asked the House to leave the matter in the hands of the Government; Eventually the matter was referred to the Government for consideration.
