Cooper to look at- the condition of the property, and Mr Cooper said, "Tf Mr R. S. Abraham saw this ho would sack tlie crowd of them." Mr Cooper asked what witness would suggest. Witness said it was not for him to say, hut lie suggested tondino; the trees, and replanting in pin cos. Mr Cooper promised to do this. He also promised to liare the water-courses cleaned out, and the water-liolos put in order. Mr Cooper had some trees planted in 1900, hut these came to nothing. Witness drew liis attention to this fact, but no fresli trees had been planted. He had also spoken to liim in vain about the water-courses and holes.
