REMARKS AT CONFERENCE.

CAUSE SENSATION IN SYDNEY

(Received Last Night, 0.120 o'clock.) SYDNEY, October 30. The remarks made at the recent Congregational Congress in reference to women's dress, have caused quite a sensation amongst the women -of Sydney, The question lias been made the subject, of much controversy in tlie newspapers, some being for and some against modern dross. (At the women's session of the Congregational Union last week, one speaker declared that Women's chief desire was to look young. Another said: "Why is it that the modern woman seems to find it easy to put off modesty when she puts on her clothes?")
