The wedding of Mr A. D. Low, of Masterton. was celebrated in Dunedin I yesterday. 1 A London ' cable states that the Rov. Herbert Hensley Heuson lias been appointed Dean of Durham. Sir John Findlay, K.C.. and Mr C. P. Sfeerret, K.C., arc at j)resent •visitors to .Masterton. Mr O. Johnson has resigned his j position as secretary of tho Pahiatua School Comrnittee, owing to pressure I of ditties. Tho resignation has. been > accepted with regret. Yesterday's arrivals at the Club Hotel, Masterton, include Sir Robert Stout, Sir John .Findlay, Messrs Skerrett, Fitzgerald, Leatham, Latimer, Hurrell, Robinson and Morrisoc. Lennox, who recently j • received news of his lather's death, ■will go Home -shortly on business in connection with the estate, in which ■he is left a considerable interest. Otaki is about to lose one of its popular young men. in the person of iMr Walter Judd, who has leased a farm of 100 odd acres in the Wairarapa district, some miles bacfir troni FeatTierstcn.
