NEW ZEALAJIC'B FORECAST. (By Teiejtrttpb—Presa Ajsocwtaon.) WELLINGWTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following report:— Antieyclonic. conditions with fair to cloudy weather have prevailed since Sunday, with moderate to strong and variable winds. A westerly gale is, however;.' reported: this, afternoon at arewell spit. Present indications are for fair to cloudy weather generally, unsettled and squally at times southward of New Plymouth and Napier, showery on the West Coast and southern districts especially. Moderate to strong westerly to south-wes-terly winds may be expected. The barometer is unsteady with a falling tendency at present.
