THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES THE RED CROSS MARTYR. For the second time this week big business'was last night recorded' at the Foresters' Hall, as the result of the current programme! oi' pictured. In.Yitagraph's Red Cross Martyr and Edison's Sunset Gun there are two military representations iar beyond anythin gin the line cf photo-play - yet given. In the former, the artistic setting of the opening scene fills one with awe and wonderment, while the ending is brimful of pathos. The Sunset Gun contains some of the most glorious vision work yet turned out. The selections played by the orchestra, for these two items, is exceedingly appropriate. The rest of the bill is well,'sustained by subjects of every class, while the scries can be well termedl powerful and interesting in the extreme. The big star was a njagnificent production called The Scientist's Secret. Tiie plot involves -a great explosive discovery by a professor of science; and the awfril consequences.arising from.same. v Tlie programme will be shown for the last time to-night.
