IMPORTATION OF FROZEN MEAT. (Recoived Last Night, 5.15 o'clock.) BERLIN, October 26. Hen- von Bethmann Hollweg, in the Prussian Diet, said that it was Hot intended to repeal the meat inspection regulations, which would practically prevent the importation of frozen beef. It was the duty of the. Government to keep the horn* meat production independent of foreign countries. If higher prices wore paid for economic independence, Germanß would not be makng sacrifices to the protectionist policy, but discharging a debt to the Fatherland for ; their own? safety.
