NEW ZEALAND'S FOR£CABT. (By Telegraph—Preaa Anocwtioa.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, thia evening issued tthe following report:— A cyclaae h is developed off the East Cape and southerly winds have ' iii creased from strong to Rale A southeasterly gale and barometric pressure from 2936 inches is now reported at East Cape, and' a southelv gale at Cape Campbell. Heavy rain showers have been experienced, especialfy on the ast Coist of the North lsla"-i. Present indications are for strong southerly winds with showery and changeable weather generally. The barometer is unsteady, but has a rising tendency everywhere. The seas will probably be he ivv on the East Coast of the North Island.
