BUTCHERS ATTACKED W WOMEN. REFUSAL 'ifrfefitiL RUSSIAN • MEAT. (Received Last Night, 10 o'clock.) BERLIN, October 24. In. oonsequence of the butchers refusirtgto sell' Russian meat which was imported by the Municipality, a mob of infuriated wo men stormed t- j stalls and trampled the meat underfoot, and flung sausages at the butchers. The police cleared the -m&j&ets. _ The women then looted'the neighbouring shops. The butchers allege that the profits are inadequate. The Municipalities estimate thut they make 40s profit on an ox and 16h on a pig.
