The Committee of the Masterton Horticultural Society on Friday evening last passed a resolution of svmpithy with the widpw and family" of the late Mr James'Pryor, and placed on record the valuable services rendered, the society by tho deceased gentleman.

The remains of the late Mr C. H. Smith were interred in the Masterton. Cemetery on Sunday morning.
