PORO PORO ESTATE
INSPECTED BY COMMISSIO/NER OF LANDS. The Commissioner of Crown Lands (Mr James Mackenzie), accompanied by the Crown Lands Ranger, proceeded by motor car yesterday to inspect the Poro Poro estate, which lias been.offered the Government by Mr A. J. Stone-Wigg for closer settlement. It-is'-understood that, as a result'of the reports of valuers, an. offer may be ana.de Mr Stone-Wigg. While he is in the Wairarapa, Mr Mackenzie will also inspect a property near Featherston that is under offer to the Government.
