WHAT, COMES OK THE CULLS?

(To the Editor.) Sir, —I have read a, good deal in your paper of late concerning the operations of various cow-testing associations. I should like to know, one interested, what becomes of the cull cows. Are they - being fattened off and sold to the. butcher, or are they put in the sale-yard and palmed on to the unsuspecting farmer? I should like to know something more on this matter. —T am etc., FARMER. Eketaluma, October 15, 1912.
