TURKS INVADE SERVIA
SERVIANS DO NOT RESIST. • A WEAK FINANCE, (RpfceivecbThis Morning, 12.20 o'clock) BELGRADE, October 15. Three thousand Turks from Ristovac have occupied the Servian side of the frontier along 211 miles of the front, as far as Gorgortogoch. Twenty-four Servians were killed and four wounded. The Government, not considering that a state of war exists, ordered I the troops to refrain from acting on ' tho offensive, but has instructed them to prevent a further Turkish advance. / The Servian Army costs £40,000 per day. The finances will not permit of a campaign extending beyond three months.
