The Sir Laddo colt should be very well by the time of the Wellington Spring meeting. Ladino, Cliffside. and Stoneyfalls were associated over five furlongs, and finished in that order. Valatua, Gav Lass, Operation and Marima covered the same distance, finishing in the order named. Vo-Ta-tudi is a fine upstanding horse, which should make an ideal hurdler later on. He will be a starter in the Bracelet on Thursday.

Sinapis, a New Zealand Cup candidate, was worked twice round a! half pace, .and sprinted a couple d furlongs.
