CHURCH SERVICES
Rev A. T. Thompson, B.A. 8.P., will conduct both the morning mid evening services at Knox Church tomorrow, and also the afternoon service at Kaituua. The Men's Society will moot at 10 a.it.. Rev S. .1. Serpell will conduct both the morning and evening services at the Methodist Olrarch to-morrow. Rev T. E. Ohfc? will take the morning; .and evening services at Kuripiuii, and tht afternoon s cm-vice at Rangitumau at 3 o'clock. . On Sunday morning the subject of the address at tho Congregational Church will be "Lessons from .the. . Past," and in the evening "Life: What is it?" These arc companion addresses and the preacher will endeavour to establish their relationship. The greatest interest should, however, ho taken in the evening discourse, when the question of "What is Life" will not only be put scientifically, but also as~eoneerns the object, and the value of life. Mr J. T. M\ Horn shy. cf Carterton, will conduct both aervices. At tho "Baptist Church, Murray's Hn'l. S\. I:i- :ji- IT nv morning Mr T. Jefcoate's subject will be: "The Drawing Power of God." At 7 o'clock 'Pastor Swinord's subject, will be: "Three Effects 'at the Lord's Coming—(!) On the World; (2) On Christian Profession : (3) On Christ Himself." Solo hv Mr Swincrd. The Presbyterian services will be conducted by the Rev J. S. Young tomorrow at Bideford in the morning, at AVangae.hu in the afternoon, and at Lansdowne in the evening. Mr T. Giles, a much respected farmer resident, will tako the services at Kopuaranga in the afternoon.
