MASTERTONS BOROUGH COUNCIL

An application to have a water supply laid on to Short Street was left in the hands of the Borough engineer to report on. It was decided that tar from the gas gas works, dealing with the extou.sitv.i of the gas piping to Lar>sdowne was adopted, and the engineei was authorised to proceed with t)r. work. It was decided tar from the gas works be gold to ratepayers at 3M per gallon, to be supplied in twentyfivo gallon lots. The reports of the Borough engineer, manager of the abattoirs, and librarian were read ami adopted. Accounts amounting to £1593 0s 9d, general account £702 0s 6d and gas account £B9l Os 3d, were passed for payment.
