THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.

A MAGNIFICENT PROGRAMME

The programme which is at present being shown at the Foresters' Hall is without doubt the finest ever presented to a Masterto'n audience. The largo attendance of patrons at this popular hall last night greeted tho bill of faro with rounds of applause, which were well merited. The chief star drama was "From the Bottom of the Sea," one of the most sensational subjects ever produced. A splendid plot is contained in trie piece, and the acting and photography were .ill that could be desired. Another fine drama was "A Spider's Web," in which Maurice Costello takes tho principal role. "The Frontier Doctor" was a capital tale of the West, in which some pathetic scenes are witnessed. "A Master of Millions" was a powerful, study, which was greatly appreciated. The comedies were an excellent lot, the equal of three of them —"Alkali Ike's Boardyig-house," "The Persistent Cavalier," and "What a n Ass"—not baring been witnessed in Mastcrton before. A number of other fine pictures were also shown. The pro- | gramme will be shown for the last I time to-nirrht. ■-,
