TYPHOID IN FLAXMILLS
A SERIOUS POSITION. (By Telegraph—i'reis Association.) PALMERSTON N., Last Night. Considerable unoasines.i exists among the flaxmill hands in this, disJ trict at the. outbreak of typhoid at certain ilaxmills. There are four cases at present in the Palmerston Hospital, one being very serious. The Health Department is investigating the matter. At a meeting of the flax Workers' Union held on Saturday ..resolutions bearing on the matter of better drinking supplies than are afforded by the Mnnawatu and Oroua rivers were passed.
