BALLANCE BUTTER
A NEW MARKET. CONSIGNMENT FOR 'FRISCO. Xew markets are (says the Pahiatua Herald) opening up for Ballance butter. Last year 50 ions were shipped to Vancouver, British Columbia, and a large portion of this season's outputis to be consigned to that part. The company is now completing ;in < rder for 200 boxes of butter for San Francisco, and the shipment will be despatched by the next 'Frisco boat. This shipment, to comply with America ii law. will be packed with salt, and will be absolutely free from preservative. Last season the Ballance. Dairy Company made a new departure by receiving a quantity of home-separat-ed cream. The results proving satisfactory, the directors have now decided ro extend the company's operations in t'l'iis direction, and announce that they are prepared to receive homeseparated cream in any quantity, paying 12} d per lb butter fat for first grade cream delivered at the railway station or town depot.
