Beef. —The market is quiet, but firm. Frozen meat arrivals are heavier than usual. New Zealand hinds, Bid per lb; fores, 3Jd. Butter. —The market remains firm at last quotations. New Zealand, 1.22s per cwt; Australian, 114s; Danish, 131s; Siberian.J 10s, : Cheese.—-The mi\.r.lvßt is quiet, with 1 no alteration in prices. Canadian, 60s 6d per c.wt; 67s. Hemp.—The market is very firm. There is a general and active demand. New Zealand, good-fair grade, £2B os ; fair grade, £27 ; fair current Manila, £2B 15s per ton. for all positions. The output from Manila for the week was 27,000 bales. Wool.—The market is strong.
