SERIOUS RIOTING
SOLDIERS IN EVIDENCE. NUMBER OP STRIKERS KILLED. (Received Last, Night, 5.5 o'clock.) NEW YORK, Soptemlw 28. At Augusta, in Geor:.'ii<. after serious rioting, in which two persons woro "killed, martial low was proclaimed. The strike has led to disorders and attacks on the street and railway cars. Soldiers established a line, .which they forbade the .strikers to cross, in consequence of a report that the electrio power works were hi danger of heinjr, dynamited. A number of strikers crossed the line, rtnd the soldiers riddled them with bullets. Great excitement mwails.
