We have it on excellent authority that a comprehensive Naiiivo Land Bill will be introduced in the next-{wesson. °f Parliament. 'This will probably provide for the speedy settlement cf Native lands on -a business-like basis. The Hon W. H. Hemes ha-s an intimate acquaintance with the subject, and lie may be depended upon to bring down a progressive measure. In the meantime, tlie individnalisation of interests is proceeding as rapidly as possible. and tho Native La ml Courts are themselves of the. legislation already provided to promote settlement.
