No ! provision is made for enrolling electors during the. year, with the result that, in the event of an extraordinary election, many recent arrivals are disfranchised. A short amendment cf the Act should be secured, SC that a new roll might be prepared in eases where an election takes place between | the ordinary polls. When Mr Hogg lis elected, he will doubtless advise the Trust, how best to proceed in this matter.
