DER KAISER
EMPEROR'S ORDERS IGNORED. (Received Last Night, 11.5 o'clock.) PARIS, September 24. The Kaiser is aboard the Hohcnzollern, and while entering a Norwegian port, he became impatient at the ship's slowness. He telephoned to the engineers ordering increased speed. Captain Nordhans, an old Norwegian pilot, immediately telephoned to theengineers to disregard the order. The Kaisc rangrily ordered the pilot. to go below. Nordhans irefused, saying, "7'his' ship is under my. direction, and noteven an Emperor is going to give orders." 'Hie Kaiser quitted the bridge. The next day he decorated Nordhans.
