Prime heavy bullocks fetched £l2 2s Gd to £l2 ss, prime bullocks £lO 17s Gd to £ll 7s 6d, lighter sorts £lO 5s to £lO 12s 6d, vealers 38s, primo heavy wethers 24s (kl to 26s Id, prima wethers 22s 6d to 23s 9d, light wethers 20s to 20s Gd, prime ewes 20s 9d, light owes 19s Gd, prime spring Jambs lGs 9d'to 17s lOd. WAIPOUA SALE. Messrs James Macintosh and Co. report having held their usual weekly sale in their Mastcrkm (Waipoua) j saleyards on Wednesday, the 18th September, when they offered a yarding well above advertised numbers. Tho sheep entry was practically all hoggets, which met with ve"ry keen competition, and the whole yarding" was sold. The cattle entry was keenly competed for and practically the yarding was sold under the hammer.
