WORKERS DWELLINGS

AUCKLAND, Last Night. Over a hundred workers' dwellings have been or are being built in the settlements at Ellerslie and Ota.huh.ii, and there are already applications ii for the next batch at the Lawry settlement. In Ellerslie twenty-six houses are to be built, and at the Kccleston settlement at Ohahuhu there will be ten new dwellings. This number will complete, the number at both settlements, with the exception of one or two sections, and the Department of Labour is now negotiating for the purchase of adjoining land both at Ellerslie and at Otahuhu.
