to open This afternoon. Lovers of flowers will make a point of being at the Bi:lb Show in Mnsterton this afternoon. The prospects of the exhibits being of a hjgh order are very bright. Mr Alfred Booth, of Hawarden, will bo the Thief exhibitor, as he is a very large —•r.ver. and is quite capable of filling a s;!io'.v-r:-::r. with plants of his own growing. There will, however, be a
number of smaller competitors, and as a vulo those who grow on a scale make a speciality of a few choice bulbs, and as they concentrate their attention on the few they are able to hold their own when competing- with larger growers. Narcissi arc just now at their host in Mastcrton, the season having been •i favourable one. Last year "a great many of the mere valuable varieties. were introduced at the •show, and nia-nv pi'rehrscs of bulb?, wore made locallv.
