I Dairy farmers are now settling ' down to their season of hard work. The factory is at present running only on alternate days, but the supply of milk is already rapidly increasing. Last Wednesday a quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised at the residence of Mr John Harvey, when his oldest daughter Milliccnt was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Mr Harry Cherry. The ceremony was performed by tho Rev Walko, of EketaI lama, and the happy couple left by tho afternoon train for Wellington, where the honeymoon is to be spent. In the evening Mr a"d Mrs Harvey entertain a large umber of guests in tho hall, where some very enjoyable hours were whited away in music and dancing. A second accident has befallen Mr IT. Pike's little son Arthur, who slipped during the week, and fractured his Mini about an inch below the fracture he received a few months ago. The injury occasioned a good deal of pain, as it was sonic time before the services of a doctor c.ouuld be obtained, but tho little sufferer is now progressing satisfactorily.

Mr 0; Isakson, who has purchased a dairy farm further north, left during the week with his family for his new .homo.
