NEW ZEALAVDs FORECAST (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following report: The barometer has fallen everywhere, with northerly and westerly winds strong to gale, and rr!n in many parts of the country. A thunderstorm was reported in Westland on Wednesday night. Present indications are for high westerly winds, with a southerly tendency for a short, time. Stormy weather is probable generally, with heavy showers in most parts of the country, and snow on the. higher le-' vels. In the youth, a temporary
crease in the barometric' pressure if. to bo expected.
