GfcRMAN CHANCELLOR CONFERS WITH MEAT EXPERT. (Received Lnst Night 10 o'clock.) MELBOURNE. September 12. The Daily Chronicle's Berlin correspondent states that Berr Bethmann Hollweg has conferred with a meat expert regarding the rise in prices. It is understood that while retaining most of the provisions lor regulating the importation of meat and live stock the Government will faciliate tha importation of frozen meat, especially from the Argentine, where the sanitary precautions are most inacoordance with German wishes.
