In. charge of tho school is M.r Clyde A. Cumming, who arrived from Sydney nearly three years ago, and who has. been connected with the movement..,, of agriculture in our schools sine© hie. arrival. On tho northern rivers in New South Wales Ivlr Cumming spent, the, early part of'his life, and there ho obtained niufcii practical knowledge, of mixed farming, and in buying., stock. Later, Mr Cumming decided, on teaching as a profession, and passing with distinction through tho Syd-.-ney 'training College, he entered for a farther period of training at. the. famous Hawkesbury College of -Agriculture, entering the College firstotx the list of teacher students, and., heading the list of those students-at-the end of the year. Mr Cumming. has .now charge of the agricultural., work carried on by the schools in theWellington educational district. Messrs D. Grant and E. Howe both.. 'received their training in the London..
