* DANNEVIRKE, .Last Night. The Dannevirko Racing Club's Spring Meeting was held to-day in fins but dull weather. The attendance was large, and the sum of £8728 was put through the machine as against £f>S33 for the corresponding meeting last year. The following are the results of the day's racing : Hack Hurdles—Bravest 1, Master Stead 2, Strategist 3. ■: Umataroa Hack Hancidap.—San Pan 1, Manakau 2, King's Favourite 3. Spring Handicap.—Otalnt 1, Cork 2, Brown Trout 3. Dannevirke Steeplechase—Don Carlos 1, Glenmore 2. Morihiko 3. Trial Stakes.— Runaway Girl 1, Moonbria 2, Panthea 3. Hack and Hunter Steeples.—Wheturangi 1, Kelp 2, The Ranter 3.. Otonga Handicap.—Lord Renown 1 Roval Marine 2, Elevator 3. 'Hack Welter.—Kino 1, Moondmo 2, Queen of Scots 3.
