RAILWAY CLERKS IN TROUBLE COMPLICATED SITUATION. | (Received Last flight, 11 o'clock.) LONDOfI, September 11. The Amalgamated Society of Railwayman hag dispensed with clerks, who were engaged last month to deal with the extra work entailed in connection wfth the Insurance Act. The latter -are- picketing at the Society's offices, in order to prevent "black-legging." The situation has become most complicated by the National Union of Clerks declaring the picketers themselves "blacklegs" for usurping qualified clerk's positions.
