TO-DAY'S WEATHER
NEW ZEALAND* FORECAST (By Telegraph—Frees Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, tbia evening issued the following report:— The barometric pressure has increased everywhere, and the winds have veered to southerly, strong to gale in parts and heavy sea. ' Squalls wi rain were experienced on Monday night on the West Coast and in the southern districts, and snow his fn 11 - \en on mine of the higher levels. The ' weather has beeu generally unsettled 'and colder. Present indications are for southerly winds, from rti'ong to gale, but backing to westerly and northerly after about 21 limirv. The barenieter is rising unsteadily m the meantime, but will fall again. The weather is likely to prove squally and changeable, wit] heavy .-showers i» most -parts of the country.
