MAURICEVILLE-RIFLE CLUB
THE ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of tho Mauriceville Defence Rifle Club was held ■on Saturday evening las-t, there being ■a good attendance of members. The report, showing that the members had had a very successful year, was adopted. Tho Club had, it was stated. been well represented at various rifle-meetings over the .North Island, with considerable success. The election of officers for the ensiling year resulted as follows: Patron. Mr Robert Cameron; president, Mr F. W. ,H. Kummer; deputy president, Mr R. F. Wilton; secretary, Mr R. A. Wilton; vice-presidents, Messrs F. G. Maunsell, C. Blewett. D. Caselberg, G. E. Summerell, J. .T. Kennedv, E. J. Rose, C. E. Danioll, D. H. Rutherford, R. C. Fowler. J. Jorgensen, 0. V. Spackman and W. Welch.
The Club will open the season on 21st inst with: the first competition of 'the Club Championship, ten shots at 300 and 600 yards.
