WON BY MISS COLLINS

NELSON, Last Nnight. In the final of the ladies' Golf championship Miss Collins, Wellington, defeated Miss Pearce, Wellington, by 5 up and 4 to play, after a magnificent game. , Spectators from all parts of New Zealand wej'e present. Miss Collins won the first two holes, and the next four were halved. Miss Pearce won the next two, and Miss Collins then drew away. Miss Pearce played a fine plucky game, and Miss Collins, although she deserved to win, had all the luck.
