The gist of the Gas Company's counsel's addresses before the Assembly was.that the Rill would inflict a gnev<ous wrong on 'investors, and deprive them of property lawfully acquired. He complained that he was deprived -of the main argument because Speaker "Willis would not allow him to make a - comparison with English legislation.

Mr Willis silenced interjecting "members with threats of removal.
