! NEW ZEALANDS FORECAST (By Telegraph —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following report:— Increasing cloudiner« has prevailed with rain in Northern districts and much mist and fog on the East Coast of the South Island. Easterly winds have predominated and increased, especially in the north, where the barometer has fallen considerably..' Present indications are for easterly winds, strong to galo, in and northward of Cook Strait, and moderate to strong elsewhere. The weather will probably be cloudy and unsettled generally, with rain in most parts of the country, and heavy rain is to bo expected in northern and eastern districts of the North Island. The barometer is very unr.'teady, and is likely to fall everywhere.
