Messrs Dalgety nnd Co. report" on tlieir Taratahi sale as follows:—A medium entry of sheep, .principally hoggets met with' a ready sale.' Our cattle ' entry '.-mostly .'con-' sisted of dairy stock good sorts, which meta with a ready side, and pome exceptionally good .prices were realised for choice sorts. In all classes we had a good clearance at the following prices. Sheep: 'Blackface hoggets 12s Sd, mixed'sex hoggets 13s lid, empty ewes 12s 4d. Cattle; Good cows at drop £8 £9, to £ls ss, medium cowy at drop £5 10s to £6 10s; best lines springing heifers £6, £6 10s to £7 os, medium springing heifers £4 10s to £5 10s, empty 2yr. heifers £4 2s Od to £4 10s. empty yearling heifers '£2 10s to £3 10s, empty cows £2 10a to £3 18s. Bulls £2.9s to £4 ss. Pigs: 20 slips 17s, 21 porkers 28s 6d.
