MASTERTONS TRUST LANDS TRUST
SPECIAL MEETING. A special meeting of tho Masterton Trust Lands Trust was held last night there being present Messrs T. Michel 1 (chairman), W. H. Jackson, T. Wagg, 0. N. C. Pragnell, D. Casclberg and H. C. Robinson. Mr Robinson' said that the meeting had been called that night for the purpose of discussing the report of his committee, but owing to the death of an esteemed colleague in the person of the late Mr J. H. Pauling, it would be deemed advisable to adjourn the meeting to some future date.
Mr T: Michell then moved: "That this body of triistees'desircs to convey to the widow and family of the late Mr James Pauling, a member of tins Board, their heartfelt sympathy in the bereavement sustained by herself and family. They also desire to voice their own sense of Joss of a valued friend and colleague."
Mr W. H. Jackson seconded the motion, which was carried in silence, the members standing.
Mr Michell then moved that the meeting adjourn until Tuesday, Dth insfc.—-Carried.
