Tho aiMiual meeting of the clieeso •factory suppliers -was .hold: last Saturday afternoon, Mr C. Alberthsen occupying the chair. In his report the Chairman congratulated 'shareholders on the past successful season, a record one in the history of the, company. At the close of the meeting a payment of 2-3 d was made to .suppliers, making a total of Is frjd for the season; also a dividend of 0 per cent on paid-up capital. Tlie outgoing director (Mr J Bowyer) was re-elected by a large majority. A motion by Mr H.irdgment that the company should purchase hulk goods to a greater extent in the future than had been clone in the past, was subsequently withdrawn to allow of legal advice being taken in .the matter, there being some doubt as o whether the Articles of Association ' would allow of tbi* being done. On the motion of Mr A. Qufnlnco, the Chairman', directors and secretary were granted isubsfcmtial bonuso?, and also, with the manager (Mr H. Adamson), were congratulated on their work during the past year.
